Detailed course itinerary

Love pizza? Want to learn to ‘throw’ pizza bases just like you’ve seen the Italians do using a wood pizza oven? Then this fun, hands-on pizza making course in Italy is the holiday course for you.

Taught by a professional chef with many years of experience making pizza, you’ll learn to make pizza using a traditional wood oven at this informal and relaxed Italian cooking school in Sorrento, Italy – the home of the famous Neapolitan pizza.

During this 5 day pizza course you’ll learn the techniques to make the perfect pizza using a wood pizza oven including how to prepare the pizza oven, the dough, making perfect pizza crust as well as preparing a host of different toppings. Using the wood oven is an art in itself and you'll find that you need the full week course in order to get to grips with making Italian pizza with the best results.

Progressing quickly, you’ll find yourself making up to 10 pizzas an hour – enough for even the most dedicated pizza lover.
