About the school

This wonderful cookery school is set in a magnificent 13th century renaissance villa on the outskirts of Florence. A stunning showcase of renaissance architecture the villa is also surrounded by outstanding estate of manicured gardens, thickly wooded forests, vineyards and silver green olive groves.

Cooking courses are guided by expert Italian chefs who are passionate about sharing their knowledge of Tuscan cooking with their students and all classes are held in the antique gallery kitchen of the villa with a huge fireplace and a marble sink, an ideal setting to learn about authentic Tuscan cooking.

True to the culinary traditions of Tuscany, all the produce used is from the surrounding estate which also produces red Chianti wine and extra virgin olive oil from the vineyards and groves. The antique cellar is used for storing wine and is the setting for wine tasting classes.

Accommodation at the school is in tastefully decorated rooms, which combine elegance and comfort with original features, frescoes, gilt mirrors, fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, silk curtains, terracotta flooring and fine antiques. As you walk through the door you will be transported back to a time of renaissance luxury and splendour.

By Taxi - Nearest Airport: Florence

A taxi can be taken from Florence Airport to the villa and costs approximately €25 and takes approximately 15 minutes.

A transfer service is offered from a central point in Florence for just €10 return daily. To book this, simply ask to add this on when booking your place on the course.
