About the school

Dedicated to teaching Spanish language courses since 1996, this friendly Spanish language school is centrally located in Playa Tamarindo and surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens just minutes from the stunning Costa Rican beaches.

Playa Tamarindo is located on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast on the stunning Nicoya Peninsula and has a population of around 1000. Those who visit Tamarindo can enjoy the typical laid back ‘Tico’ lifestyle and fantastic beaches whilst taking advantages of conveniences such as supermarkets, ATMs and internet cafes.

This small town attracts many travellers all year round for many special reasons such as thrilling surf conditions, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, turtle watching and great nightlife! Its location also means that Playa Tamarindo receives the least amount of rainfall in Costa Rica.

The language school building is made up of 3 small buildings and 2 small outdoor palm huts and the spacious and comfortable classrooms are distributed among these buildings. The main building also has a cafe where you can relax between lessons, meet other students or take a dance class.

Directions - How to get here...

By Taxi - Nearest airport: San Jose or Liberia

Most students fly in to San Jose Airport but please note most flights arrive in the evening so we recommend you stay in San Jose for the night and travel to Playa Tamarindo the next day. Full transport details will be printed on your booking voucher.

Alternatively, you can travel by taxi from Liberia International Airport to Playa Tamarindo in about 1 hour. The journey costs around US$70.
