GoLearnTo.com had its fun kitesurfing holidays featured in the Sunday Times this weekend as part of their ‘Winter breaks with a difference’ article.

Kitesurfing in Fuerteventura

Kick back: Corralejo is a fair sized resort in the Canaries. Which doesn’t sound that enticing. Unlike others, however, it has kept its fishing village charm by the waterfront, with crute little streets and excellent seafood restaurants. The vast white beaches to the south of town are a treat too, and your neat apartment is a five-minute walk from them.

Get busy: With four half days of kitesurfing tuition (and trust me, your muscles couldn’t take more than half day). Winter’s the time for beginners, with lighter winds, so your arms stay in their sockets, and comfy temperatures (24c in November).

Do it: Seven nights costs from £668, including accommodation, tuition, all equipments, transfers, packed lunch and more.

If kitesurfing is not your thing then you could also try windsurfing or surfing holidays from under £400 for a week.
