This great value windsurfing holiday includes 7 night’s accommodation in a great holiday apartment that is just 5 minutes walk from the beach. You’ll have transport provided to the windsurfing bay and use of top quality windsurfing equipment that is suited to you individually to ensure you get the most out of every lesson.
Taught by highly qualified and experienced instructors, this course is aimed at beginners to those looking to improve their existing skills. Learning to windsurf over four days gives you more time to get to grips with this exciting sport and you’ll take your wind surfing skills to the next level as you indulge your need for action and adrenaline.

Solo Holiday
- This windsurf trip makes an ideal singles holiday, if you are travelling solo you have a choice of sharing a room to avoid paying a single supplement

Windsurfing Holiday Start Days
- The windsurf school is open year round as the weather is always mild
- Arrivals are on Tuesdays and the course starts the following day
Windsurf Holiday Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival day
- You will be picked up from Fuerteventura airport and taken to the windsurf apartment
- You'll have time to check into your room, meet your fellow windsurfers and make your own arrangements for dinner in the evening
Days 2-7 - Windsurfing
- Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before getting ready for your windsurf lessons
- Lessons might take place at the lagoon in El Cottillo which is about a 40 minute drive depending on weather conditions
- You will have 3 hours of windsurfing lessons each day for 4 consecutive days but please note this is dependent on the wind so lessons may need to be on separate days or all on the same day
- Please note that you'll have 2 days off during this period (the exact days to be confirmed on arrival)
-You will set out with your instructor in the morning to find the best wind and all transport is provided to the day's windsurf spot
- Note: the exact time of your windsurf lessons will be advised on arrival and are subject to the wind conditions that day
- A packed lunch and plenty of water is provided
- You are free to take breaks when you want, if you feel tired you can sit on the beach and soak up some sun
Days 8 - Departure and transfer to Fuerteventura airport
- After breakfast, check out of your room by 10am ready for your transfer back to Fuerteventura airport taking home with you some new found windsurf skills that will stay with you long after the holiday is over
What Will I Learn?

- By the end of the 4 days, you’ll be well on your way to windsurfing competently in light winds

Free Time In Fuerteventura
- Windsurfing equipment can be hired when you are more experienced and not taking lessons so that you can practise your new found windsurfing skills in your free time
- With 300 days of sunshine a year, over 150 beaches and many beautiful reefs there is a lot to explore in Fuerteventura be it on foot or by sea
- You can spend your evenings in any of the lively bars the many great restaurants or take a stroll along the beach
Accommodation In The Apartments
- You’ll stay in a great apartment just 5 minutes walk from some of the best beaches and the town centre
- The apartments all have either 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and you’ll be allocated the best available room for your party size
- For example, if there are 2 of you travelling together we’ll allocate you a private 1 bedroom apartment if available, otherwise you’ll have your own private room in one of the 2 or 3 bedroom apartments sharing with others
- Please note if you would like to guarantee that you will have your own apartment please contact us before booking so that we can check availability and hold the apartment for you

- Rooms have twin or double beds with shared bathrooms (please note only the 1 bed apartments have their own bathroom, the 2 and 3 bedroom apartments have 1 bathroom which guests share)
- Internet connection is (LAN line) is available at 10€/week
Windsurfing Accommodation Location
- Apartments are in a great location in downtown Corralejo
- Conveniently located for of the towns amenities, restaurants so a car isn’t necessary unless you prefer to have a car
- Transport will be provided to and from your windsurf apartment to the windsurfing harbour every day
- Lessons might take place at the lagoon in El Cottillo which is about a 40 minute drive depending on weather conditions
- Transport is in a 4 x 4 so you can be assured you’ll be able to reach the sailing spot
Windsurf Equipment
- You will be kitted out in top quality wetsuits
- Windsurf brands a plenty from Fanatic, NewWave, AllWave, Eagle, FreeWave, Shark and Viper with varying lengths from 233 - 280cm and a range of volumes. There is also a great selection of top quality rigs, North Natural, North Duke and North Ice. A range of sizes are available to you from 4.2 - 7.0
Wind Conditions In Fuerteventura, Canary Islands
- Stunning Fuerteventura offers ideal wind conditions and mild weather for both beginners and experienced windsurfers year round
- Water rarely dips below 19 degrees and gets to 22 degrees in the Summer months
- For safety reasons, windsurfing lessons can only take place if the weather conditions permit so please be sure to check the weather conditions with the school in advance of the lessons
- In the unlikely event that the conditions mean you cannot take a lesson, lessons will be offered on alternative days and you will be given free windsurfing equipment for the day
What to Bring
- All windsurf equipment will be provided so just bring everything you would normally take to the beach
- Don’t forget sunscreen, swimmers, a hat and a beach towel
