This relaxing and reviving 7 night / 8 day yoga, meditation, Pilates and surf holiday is set minutes from the white-sand beaches.  A combination of yoga, beach yoga, meditation, Pilates and surf lessons will ensure you return home feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and with a new-found love of surfing!

The yoga lodge although within walking distance of local cafes, supermarkets and restaurants, is tucked away in a peaceful area of Corralejo far removed from the bustling tourist areas offering you the chance to really unwind and disconnect.

Take a week out to focus on your own complete wellbeing. You will make the most of the ocean by taking surf lessons on 3 days of the holiday. The beach is also the location of yoga sessions, Pilates and gentle guided meditation sessions throughout your stay. There’s even a full body massage session included in the price to really indulge yourself.

The delicious, healthy breakfasts are also a highlight with great food produced each morning to set you up for the day leaving you feeling satisfied and healthy.

In between the yoga, Pilates and meditation sessions and surf classes, you can book additional massages and therapies, go cycling or simply slow down to enjoy beach life.

The fun and relaxed atmosphere, along with the warm welcome from the whole team, will allow you to really unwind and make the most of your stay in this Canarian paradise. - Suitable for all from complete beginners to those with many years practice of yoga, meditation and surfing
- Minimum age 14 (14 - 17 year olds must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over) with no upper age limit

Travelling solo?
- The villa makes a great choice for the solo traveller as you can opt to share a room with another person of the same sex for no single supplement
- There are also spaces to relax and unwind where you can meet your fellow yogis

- Courses run on set dates throughout the year and arrivals are usually on a Saturday
- Accommodation is for 7 nights / 8 days

Yoga, Pilates and surf retreat itinerary
Note: The full programme starts on day 2 so you can arrive anytime on day 1, however, there is a yoga session in the evening of day 1

Please note that the itinerary is for guidance only and may change week to week:

Day 1 – Arrival day
- Today is your arrival day, check into the lodge any-time after 2pm and take your time to explore the local area, beaches and village of Corralejo
- There is an evening yoga class on your arrival day around 5pm

Day 2 – Beach yoga
- Join your yoga instructor at the beach for a morning yoga session which lasts around 1.5 hours and starts around 8am
- After your yoga, head back to the lodge for a healthy breakfast
- The rest of the day is free until your evening yin yoga session at 5pm 
- After your yoga session, enjoy an evening welcome meal and get to know your fellow guests

Day 3 – Beach yoga and guided meditation
- Head to the beach again this morning around 8am for a beach yoga session followed by a healthy breakfast back at the yoga lodge
- In the evening around 5pm, join the group for your evening yoga and meditation session

Day 4 – Morning Pilates and evening yoga session
- Start the morning at around 8:30am with a Pilates session
- In the evening around 5pm it's time for your evening yoga session

Day 5 – Rest day
- Start your day with a morning yoga class
- This afternoon is a rest period, so take the opportunity to relax

Day 6 – Morning Pilates session and yoga
- Start your day with a morning 1 hour Pilates session around 8:30am followed by breakfast
- At 5pm, it's time for your evening yoga session

Day 7 – Morning yoga and evening yoga and meditation
- Today’s morning yoga session is held at the beach followed by breakfast back at the lodge
- In the evening around 5pm enjoy your final yoga and meditation session
- After yoga, there will be a farewell dinner to end a perfectly relaxing week

Day 8 – Departure day
- After a final breakfast at the lodge, check out ready to return home feeling refreshed after a tranquil beach yoga and meditation week

Surfing Lessons
Each surf lesson will be approximately 4 hours per day over 3 days, normally on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Thursday. Please bear in mind that surf classes are held according to the tides and the best conditions for learning so you may miss a class on your scheduled day in order to get the best conditions for your surf course. This may mean that you will occasionally miss an evening yoga class, but you will always get at least 1 yoga class on surf days

About your yoga and meditation teacher: Sara Mattana
Being well travelled and extremely sportive, Sara began her journey with yoga during a life changing trip to Australia where she simply fell in love with yoga. She loved it’s practice but also the joys it brought with it as yoga provides one with an easygoing and relaxed lifestyle.

Choosing to embrace this way of life, Sara decided to move closer to home, Italy, and thus moved to the Canary Islands. She is qualified as an Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher and is recognised by the yoga alliance international. Sara loves teaching a dynamic style of yoga based on breath, badhas and drishti.

What will I learn in my meditation and yoga sessions?
- Yoga and meditation practice will be adapted for all levels from complete beginners to advanced
- The tutor Sara will demonstrate modifications and advancements to exercises/poses and classes will be split into ability levels where necessary
- Your yoga classes will be focused on Hatha yoga
- Yoga practice will cover Asanas (physical movements), Pranayama (breathing practices), Meditation (stilling and calming of the mind & inner self) and Relaxation (complete mind, body relaxation)
- Meditation will include yoga nidra and guided meditation
- The small groups allow you to explore alignment within your pose as well as fluid movement from one pose to the next working with our teachers to deepen your practice whatever your level
- The teacher will give you one-to-one attention giving you the confidence to develop a home practice

About your surf school
The surf classes and courses are provided by International Surfing Association (ISA) and British Surfing Association (BSA) qualified instructors, who have spent many years on the island sharing their passion for the sport and Fuerteventura’s waves

What to bring
- Please bring comfortable clothing you can move in easily for your yoga practice
- It can be hot in the summer months so please bring clothing that will be suitable for practicing in hot weather
- It can be cool in the evening in the winter months so please bring a long-sleeved top or light jacket
- The retreat supplies yoga mats as well as any additional equipment needed for the specific session
- When you attend your surf lessons, please bring swimwear, a beach towel and suncream. It is also recommended that you bring a bottle of water and bring a packed lunch - there is a local bakery where you can pick up delicious sandwiches

Note: In the unlikely event that the weather means beach yoga is not possible, yoga will take place at the lodge in one of the indoor chill-out areas

Treatments / massages
- Includes a one-hour full body massage
- Massages and treatments are available and if you wish to book other treatments, your host can help you arrange this with the therapist during the week

- You’ll spend 7 nights / 8 days in the tranquil yoga lodge
- The lodge is just a 3 minute walk from the beach and although it is within easy walking distance to Corralejo with its bars, restaurants and cafes, it is tucked away in a peaceful location far away from the tourist crowds
- The lodge has 5 bedrooms: 4 twin rooms and 1 single room
- The following room options are based on availability:
Ocean view suite (twin or double) with terrace and private bathroom
Pool view twin room with shared bathroom
Garden view twin room with shared bathroom
Lower level twin room with private bathroom (located just outside the bedroom)
Pool view private single room with shared bathroom
- The décor is modern and calming with Indian and Moroccan influences creating a unique style and ambience
- The lodge is designed to help you meet your fellow guests and there are indoor and outdoor chill-out areas as well as a lovely swimming pool and garden to relax in
- The lodge also features an indoor yoga studio, open air yoga terrace and wifi access
- There is also a well equipped kitchen for guests’ use if you wish to cook your own meals and breakfasts will be served either in the kitchen or outside in one of the chill out areas
- Prices are based on 1 person in a shared room
- If you wish to have a private room, you may pay extra to secure a room for sole occupancy

- Check-in is on your arrival day after 2pm and check-out is on day 8 by 11am

- A daily healthy breakfast comprising of fruits, home-baked bread, cereals and muesli, teas and juice is served each morning (after your yoga sessions)
- You will also enjoy a vegetarian evening welcome dinner on your first night at the lodge on arrival day
- If you are vegetarian, vegan or have dietary requests these must be communicated to us at the time of booking
- Award-winning restaurants, an outstanding bakery, supermarket and cafes and bars in Corralejo are just a few minutes’ walk away
