Ayurvedic Yoga And Cooking Holiday

Puglia Region, Puglia, Italy

Holiday itinerary

The charming region of Puglia in southern Italy, renowned for its rich cuisine and tranquil scenery, will be the setting of this 6 night / 7 day Italian cooking and yoga holiday. High atop a hill overlooking the surrounding countryside you will find the Provencal 15th-century farmhouse encased in high dry stone walls where your courses will take place.

Every morning, wake up to fresh air, gorgeous countryside, and relaxing yoga sessions, to start your day rejuvenated. This serene location also sets the scene for a traditional Mediterranean-influenced cookery lesson with some of the expert village women from the region as your guides. Tucked away in the gorgeous on-site kitchen, you will create a wide range of appetizers as well as traditional Puglian dishes, passed on through generations of locals.

Local village women will share their in-depth knowledge of the complex Italian palette, plus some of the secrets of the region. Learn new techniques under their skilful guidance and allow your originality to shine through in your creations.

Then spend some time with Mariangela for some refreshing ayurvedic treatments to completely reset your body and mind before indulging in delicious meals. With a holiday this full of decadence and relaxation, it will be hard to leave this Italian paradise.

During your course, stay in a gorgeously renovated 15th-century farmhouse in any of its 10 guest rooms, complete with a wonderful view of the surrounding grounds or countryside. Each room has been named after a sign of the zodiac and decorated in a traditional Provencal style and has a mini fridge, private ensuite bathroom, WiFi, and various other modern amenities. The grounds include a luxurious swimming pool, beautiful gardens, and a rural chapel with several 17th-century murals, the ideal place to unwind and cook up a storm.

At the end of your stay, take home a refreshed mind and body, plus in-depth knowledge of the complexities of Italian cuisine and how to best prepare it, so that you can cook in style long after your memorable cooking and yoga holiday.
