This wonderful retreat is the perfect base for your 14 night detox and fitness retreat; get into a new routine but keep everyday interesting while you get your cardio going on jungle trails, village steps, or using the white sands for resistance.

With the natural beauty and sun all around you, it may be easy to forget you’re working out on your holiday!

This wellbeing retreat specializes in letting the island setting bring out the best in your fitness routine. To make the most of your natural surroundings, the yoga studio is outside, much of your training will be done in different natural environments and your meals at the café can be eaten outdoors.

Come find out for yourself how yoga, daily outdoor exercise, restorative massages, swimming and delicious organic food does wonders for your body and mind. In your free time, you’ll see how easy it is to meet like-minded friends in a relaxing environment.

Fitness classes will be small so that everyone gets the individual attention and instruction they deserve and pay for. You will learn a variety of new ways to keep yourself fit, including weight training, yoga, self defence, free weights and also finding the gym equipment that works best for your desired results.

Whether it is yoga, self defence, nutrition and your meals, or time with a personal trainer, every member of staff has been carefully selected for their personalised background in what they have to offer. Each have the passion and caring nature to bring out the best in you and your holiday.

All meals are included, and you will be amazed at how many items can be packed in on a healthy, organic menu. From burgers, wraps, curries and tacos, to eggs, chicken breasts and tuna steaks, you will find you can try something new for each meal, 3 times a day.

Your accommodation will be in a traditional Thai style bungalow. The bungalow is equipped with the island must haves (A/C, WiFi, refrigerator) along with its own private terrace and flat screen TV, and in the perfect location by the pool and beach. To save some extra money, bring a friend, share a room and use that extra dough to pamper yourself. The pool area and Thai garden has been set up as an area conducive to making new friends, and has a chilled, welcoming vibe that will draw you to it.

- This fitness holiday makes a great singles holiday as it is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded people

Detox and fitness holiday itinerary
This itinerary is for guidance only and subject to change but is typically as follows:

- From your first dinner upon arrival, to breakfast on the day you depart, your whole week is catered for, with plenty for you to see and do
- On arrival, you will be given a weekly schedule of classes and events that you can feel free to join as you please; including cardio, aqua fit, yoga, fitness, and strength & conditioning sessions
- You will also be given a tour on arrival so you can begin to make yourself at home
- Feel free to push yourself and join as many or as little classes as you would like or give yourself some relaxation time when needed; it is up to you
- The pool is open from 7am-7pm and your included treatments and massages can be scheduled throughout the day
- Although there are structured activities, you have your own freedom to come and go as you please

A typical day:
- 7am: Cardio session according to your fitness level (running, MTB, hiking, swimming, running, beach HIIT)
- 9:30am: Enjoy a healthy organic breakfast
- 10:30am: Yoga and meditation class lasting 75 minutes
- 12pm: Raw, vegan, vegetarian or flexitarian lunch
- 4pm: Strength and conditioning class lasting 1 hour
- 6pm: Raw, vegan, vegetarian or flexitarian dinner
- 8pm: Time to treat yourself after a day of exercise with your daily massage

What will I learn?
- This retreat has a holistic approach that avoids fad diets, extreme fasts and colonics; rather focusing on letting your body do what it does best - cleansing itself naturally with food, juices, meditation and exercise
- The team will help you balance mind, body and spirit by fueling it with the healthiest food, daily exercise to release toxins, cold pressed juices to replenish vital vitamins and minerals, along with yoga, downtime, and some relaxation to regenerate at your own pace

What should I bring?
- Lots of lightweight activewear for the fitness classes
- Trainers (the retreat recommend two pairs)
- Light flip flops and a sarong
- Lightweight backpack for carrying water bottles during the hikes
- Your own refillable water bottle
- Light clothing for dining, exploring and relaxing

- Something great to read (they have a library just in case)

Treatments and massages offered
- An ionic foot detox or ear candling session in the on-site beauty centre
- Detoxifying Chinese cupping session or Colon hydrotherapy (outside of the retreat at Magic Hands)
- Natural fat burner supplements
- Daily choice of a traditional Thai body massage, oil massage or foot reflexology massage
- Infrared sauna & ice baths (after training, 3 times per week)

Where will I be staying?
- You will have your own private Thai style bungalow with ensuite bathroom with NO single supplements for solo travellers
- All bungalows have a sitting area, private balcony with furniture, a flat screen TV (with English satellite), and King sized bed
- Rooms are comfortable and clean around a private Thai garden and private pool

- All of your meals are catered for via the wonderful Superfood cafe, where all meals have been devised to optimize your body through the careful planning of the in-house nutritionist and food alchemist
- Each item on the menu has been executed to make all of the food taste amazing and be nutritious, providing nourishment and energy
- It’s a simple food plan but it is delicious, amazing for your body, and every meal (breakfast, lunches, dinners, rolls, wraps, burgers, burritos, smoothie bowls, soups, salads and so much more) offers variety and something new to try daily
- In addition, indulge in some the juices, healthy shots and cold drinks
- The cafe caters to vegan and gluten free diets

What can I do in my free time?
- You can have the best of both worlds here; right on the beach and plenty of hiking trails through the trees for diversity
- Wonder up the beach to find some restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife - everything is in walking distance so no need to worry about transportation
- If you bring some spending money, be sure to check out these options:
- Lamai’s Sunday walking street - filled with vendors of food, crafts and clothes; cheap, local and fantastic
- Hit the night market
- Jet ski and water sport rentals
- Visit Wat Lamai, Wat Khunaram, and many more cultural points of interest
