  • Welcome drinks and tasting of local produce on arrival on day 1
  • Italian cookery lessons on day 3 and 6 (Tuesday and Friday)
  • Cookery lessons typically start around 10.30am and finish around 2pm after you’ve eaten the lunch you’ve learnt to cook
  • Wine tuition and wine tasting right before the meal on the cooking days
  • All cooking materials and ingredients
  • Visit to the local pecorino and ricotta cheese producer in Tavernelle on day 2 (Monday)
  • A visit to the Cinque Terre region on day 4 (Wednesday) by car and guided visit to two wineries with wine tastings accompanied by a Sommelier
  • A visit to the coastal town of Manarola
  • Transport to the Cinque Terre region and back to the palazzo
  • Self-catering breakfast each morning at the palazzo
  • A light lunch at one of the wineries on day 4 (Wednesday)
  • The delicious lunches you’ve learnt to cook during your cooking lessons with wine on day 3 and 6 (Tuesday and Friday)
  • Accommodation at the palazzo in a twin/double room with private bathroom in one of the self-contained apartments for 6 nights / 7 days
  • You can check in any time after 3pm on day 1 and check-out by 10am on day 7
  • Prices are based on two sharing, a compulsory single supplement applies for those travelling solo
  • Please note: Car hire is essential for this holiday to make the most of the local area and its not possible to reach the house by public transport

Stay in a magnificent 400 year old Tuscan palazzo nestled in the medieval village of Tavernelle, overlooking a National Park in the countryside of northern Tuscany just 2 hour’s drive from Florence and just over an hour away from Pisa and Genova by car. Enjoy a cookery and wine or purely wine holiday in this tranquil setting for a learning holiday with a difference.
