- All food (you will be required to cook for yourself)
- Basic accommodation for in either a shared casita or caravan for 20 nights / 21 days (possibly a tent)
- Accommodation and food is in return for 5 hours working on the ranch each day and 2 hours of riding lessons and trekking out
- You will have 2 free days per week to ride or just relax
- All horse riding equipment (please bring suitable clothing for riding)
- Please note: Although the riding school have a wide range of horses to choose to ride, the horses on our working holiday unfortunately cannot take riders over 13.8 stone (90kg)
- Note: Please bring a torch, sunscreen, warm clothes (as weather can change at high altitudes), waterproofs and clothes to work in
Location overview
Go horse riding at this unique trekking centre based in the heart of Andalucia, Spain. The stables are situated on a small plateau, 1200 metres above the spa town Lanjaron in the Alpujarra region of Andalucia, close to Granada where the waters here are said to contain minerals for eternal youth. The Alpujarra hills and Sierra Nevada mountains are right on the doorstep and offer wonderful views of the surrounding countryside and the coastline of Africa on a clear day.
