S SCHUT, Sudbury, UK - Apr 2013

Everyone were lovely..my only problem was that my husband and I were interested in learning how to make traditional pizza baked in brick oven...which we discovered was a separate day course!! Thus we were a little disappointed as it was made clear during time of booking. thanks Mrs Schut

Reply from Supplier: Sorry you didn't realise this about the pizza course. This course is based on making pizza in a conventional oven. There is also a 1 day pizza making course in a wood fired oven that we offer which you can add on if you wish. Please see our website for this course in Sorrento.

Chef was very knowledgable and helpful. Staff were also really friendly and welcoming. Overall a great break which I have already recommended to friends!

G Mahoney, West Malling, UK - May 2012

We had a great time on the cookery course, and (most) of the family are lovely and very accomodating. However, we were put in the hotel, not the B&B as described on the GoLearnTo website, which is far from Sorrento town centre (approximately a €20 cab ride or 20 minute up-hill walk to train station, then a twice per hour train), so really not very practical. We ended spending a lot on taxis as there is nothing to do in the village where the hotel is.

Reply from Supplier: We are very sorry that your post booking experience didn’t fully meet your expectations; the supplier changed location post booking, though we did contact all guests to notify them of the change. Please rest assured that the course content has now been amended on our website and that the change in location of the cookery school was made with the customers' best interest at heart. Hotel Soleluna is a lovely place to stay with a great atmosphere, a lovely terrace where you can sit outside and relax after your cookery lessons and enjoy the food you have prepared. The rooms are also a lot prettier, and the separate cookery school/kitchen for lessons is brand new.

M Ward, London, United Kingdom - Oct 2011

very relaxing environment

L Giles, Bentley, Australia - Aug 2011

The course wasn't exactly what we had expected, but the teacher was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Unfortunately the regular teacher was on holidays during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. The accommodation was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful

Reply from Supplier: Hi, We're pleased you enjoyed your course. Just to explain Chef Palmira is the head chef at the school now and has been cooking with guests there for over 8 years, we're pleased you had a good time and hope to see you again!

D Browne, Brighton, UK - Aug 2011

Excellent experience, cooked many more dishes than I expected and was a relaxed, enjoyable learning environment.

S Tuomioja, Tampere, Finland - Jun 2011

Food was great course was fun learned new things and staff was beyond great. Fab experience.

D Nair, London, UK - Apr 2011

The accommodation was good, staff were friendly, but the course was way overpriced. 3 hour course for over £100 per person, is mad, especially as we did'nt really cook, it was more of a rushed demonstration of the chefs and their students cooking dinner!

G Monzo, Munchen, Germany - Apr 2011

Very comfortable casual and friendly family. The family were Great! Location was just fine. The family was very kind and helpful.

J Mcrostie, Highbury, Australia - Mar 2011

I do not work in the food industry so everything that I learned and observed at the Pizza, Pasta and Gelato holiday was good and I found it very useful for cooking I will do at my home in Australia. I would certainly recommend this to other people.

L Patrick, Poole, UK - Mar 2011

The course and place was very nice, very authentic and the staff were very welcoming and I really enjoyed it. Value for money, I feel it was a bit expensive for what it is, but apart from that, I had a wonderful time.

p weldon, london, uk - Sep 2010

I have a good knowledge of general cooking anyway so was looking for some authentic insight into pizza and pasta. I loved the unfancy , artisan honest, approach and feel to the whole school. To say its a school gives the wrong idea. Its like a family business and so friendly. i will be back!!

L G, Canada - Aug 2010

Great fun, thanks...
