We’ve been inundated with requests for short pizza and pasta making courses in Italy but the art of pizza making in a wood oven cannot be learned in a few days, using the wood oven and perfecting the perfect pizza takes time but we didn’t want to disappoint you all so we’ve designed a new 2 day pizza, pasta and gelato making course to satisfy your cravings for 3 of Italy’s most famous dishes.

Not many of us have wood ovens at home so we’ve designed a practical course where you learn to make pizza using a conventional household oven which means everyone can learn to make the pizza dough, to ‘throw’ pizzas like a professional and to create delicious toppings to suit all tastes and more importantly, you can easily recreate the pizzas back home in your own oven.

A cooking course in Italy wouldn’t be complete without learning to make fresh pasta along with some simple but pungent pasta sauces.  Having learned to make pasta myself from an Italian chef, it really is simple and quick (as long as you have warm hands!) and the taste is so superior to dried pasta that I’ve been rolling the dough and getting my pasta machine out on a regular basis using all the little tips and tricks I learned from the professionals.  This 2 day course will teach you to make your own pasta quickly with amazing results – guaranteed!

To end the course on a sweet note, we’ve included a gelato making lessons where you’ll learn to make quite possibly the best ice cream in the world.  Who could resist?

The pizza, pasta and gelato making course is available at our fantastic cooking school in Sorrento on the stunning Amalfi coast.
