From Spain to Mexico the hispanic world loves a good fiesta and as its coming up to party season, here are a few Spanish phrases to get the party started:

pasarlo bomba- to have a great time

un chupito – a shot

un huelemoles- a party crasher (lit:-someone who can smell the mole sauce cooking!)

salir de marcha – to go out (and party)

empinar el codo (*)- To have quite a few drinks(lit:- To straighten up one’s elbow like a pine -referring to your arm’s position when drinking)

estar mamado/a (*)–to be drunk (lit:- to be breastfed!)

una resaca – a hangover
