As in all languages money can be expressed in a million ways, the French have a fantastic collection of slang words to describe Money, here are a couple to try out next time someone asks you to by them a drink:
- Moi, j’ai pas un tune! (I don’t have a penny!)
- être blindé to be filthy rich ‘ Il est blindé de fric’:
- Fric – money
- Pognon – money
- Oseille – money
- Tune – money
