Holiday itinerary

This unique 8 day / 7 night yoga holiday will take you on a voyage of discovery along the stunning Mediterranean coast. Move your yoga practice outside the studio and draw inspiration from the ever-changing scenery on this yoga holiday with a difference.

The traditional two- or three-masted Turkish Gulet yachts have come a long way since their origins in antiquity, and today you will enjoy all the comforts of a 4* hotel with ensuite bathrooms. However, this comes without losing any of the well-known Turkish hospitality and charm, as the professional crew are waiting to welcome you aboard.

Each day, 2 yoga sessions will be taught on deck – in the morning before breakfast, and in the evening before dinner. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the most exciting and undiscovered stretches of Turkish coastline. Throughout the day, the Gulet will stop at bays to allow you time to swim or head onto land to take a walk. Or you can choose to simply relax, sunbathe, and get to know the others on board.

All meals will be expertly prepared by your on-board chef, who will serve you breakfast, lunch and dinner, so you don’t have to worry about a thing! You will enjoy delicious meals, including local specialities and traditional mezes, all prepared to be nutritionally balanced and healthy. The chef uses only the freshest local produce, and can cater for vegetarians very easily.

Each cabin accommodates two people, and all have private bathrooms. You can share a cabin with a friend or another traveller of the same sex, or have the privacy of your own room for a single supplement. Be sure to try sleeping out under the stars on deck on at least one night, though!

Soak up the beauty and tranquillity of the Turkish coastline, for memories to last a lifetime.

Travelling Solo?
- This yoga holiday makes a wonderful holiday for solo travellers, as there will be plenty of opportunity to meet other guests throughout the week
- You can share a room with another guest of the same sex if you prefer not to pay the single supplement for a private cabin (subject to availability)
- Private rooms for sole occupancy can be reserved with a single supplement; see costing and extras for more information


 Yoga Holiday Start Days
- Holidays have set departure dates between May and October
- Holidays always begin and end on Saturdays
- Yoga holidays are for 7 nights/8 days
- All holidays are on request so please email us and we’ll check availability for your preferred day of arrival as quickly as possible


Yoga Holiday Itinerary
The itinerary is for guidance only and is subject to change depending on the group’s needs and wishes but is typically as follows:

Day 1- Saturday- Arrival and welcome dinner
- Upon arrival at Dalaman airport, you will make your way to Marmaris harbour where the yacht is moored
- If you have pre-booked a transfer, your driver will meet you and take you directly there
- Your room will be read for check-in from 4pm
- After checking in, you will be introduced to your professional crew for the week
- This evening, get to know your fellow guests over dinner

Days 2–7 – Yoga Classes
- Start each day with a revitalising yoga session, and then enjoy a well-deserved and delicious breakfast
- The rest of the day will be spent exploring the beautiful Turkish coast by boat, and you will spend a lot of time relaxing onboard and enjoying the cruise.
- Frequent stops will allow you an opportunity to swim, or head onto land to take a walk
- Lunch will be served on the boat
- At dusk, another yoga session will take place on deck in front of the backdrop of a setting sun
- Your evening meal will be served shortly after this yoga session, and you can spend the rest of the evening relaxing and getting to know the others aboard

Day 8 – Departure
- Enjoy your final morning yoga session
- Today after breakfast, the yacht will dock and you will disembark at around 10am
- If you have pre-booked a transfer, you will be taken back to the airport


Your Yoga Tutors And Host
- Your host Burcu is fun and friendly and also passionate about Turkish culture, organising every element of your holiday with care and attention she offers the quintessential Turkish hospitality
- Your yoga instructor Hatice Bese teaches Yoga, Reiki, Meditation and Healing in Turkey and abroad
- After being trained in New York Sonic Yoga, Hatice Bese completed her Restorative Yoga Trainer training in San Francisco with Judith Hanson Lasater
- She took Reiki I and Reiki II trainings in New Jersey Elila Center with Andrea Grace and New York Open Center with Joanna Crespo. She completed her Reiki Master training in New York with William Lee Rand. She took Yoga Therapy training with Dr Neslihan İskit in Istanbul.


What Will I Learn?
- This holiday is suited for all levels of yoga practitioner - whether you are a beginner or more experienced, your instructor will tailor the activities and demonstrate progressions
- Vinyasa Yoga is taught on the boat
- Chakra awakening and balancing meditation & mantras for chakras
- We will focus on each chakra every day, releasing blockages & balancing chakras
- Mandala's
- Training documents will be provided for the week
- You will receive a certificate of attendance


What To Bring?
- You are advised to bring comfortable and loose-fitting clothes for your yoga sessions - whatever you would wear for yoga at home
Just pack your camera, couple of light sweatshirts, mosquito repeller, tracking shoes, sandals, sunscreen, sunglasses, books, towel and of course your most important clothing is your swimming suit.
- Yoga mats will be provided


The Accommodation
- Prices are based on 2 people sharing a double cabin
- Private cabins are available upon payment of a single supplement
- Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom


Meals
- All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are provided while you are aboard the yacht
- Breakfast is a typical Turkish breakfast with cheese, olives, bread, tomatoes, eggs, jam, honey, butter etc.
- Lunch will be a mix of vegetable meze dishes and carbohydrates
- Dinner will be fish or meat with salad and mezes
- Water, tea and coffee are provided all day long
- Other drinks on board are not included in the price
