About the school

This excellent surf school and camp was established in 1993 by two brothers who have been surfing the waves in Peniche since their childhood. Together with their team of qualified surf instructors they have the passion and experience to help you experience the true surfer lifestyle on Portugal's stunning beaches.

The region provides quality waves all year round and within a 15km radius you may find over 20 different wave conditions. The school holds an exclusive permit to have its surf classes on the Cantinho da Ba beach. This spot is legendary for its ideal conditions for beginners making it the perfect school at which to go learn to surf.

In your free time you can explore the stunning surrounding landscapes by renting a bike, enjoy the towns of Baleal and Peniche, practice your surfing or head to the local bar where you may find your surf instructors behind the turntables.

School directions

By Taxi - Nearest airport: Lisbon (80km away), you can also fly to Oporto or Faro although distances are longer.

You can take a taxi directly to the school. This will take approximately 10 minutes from the centre of Peniche to the school.

Buses run every 2-3 hours from Lisbon bus station to Peniche. A taxi from Peniche to the surf school costs around 10 Euros.

Transfers leaving from Lisbon at 2pm & 8pm on Sundays can be added for 95 Euros each way (2 persons + receive a discount on the transfer price)
