Tastefully restored to a high specification whilst retaining the original rustic charm, this 150 year old rural retreat is intimate, homely, and idyllic.

Surrounded by breathtaking views: unspoilt landscape of rolling hills carpeted with ancient olive trees, valleys covered with Almond blossoms, fields of wild coriander and wild asparagus – this Finca is the perfect setting in which to experience the rich colours, sensual aromas and complex flavours of extraordinary Andalusian cuisine and fine wines.

Tucked away in the picturesque whitewashed village of Los Juncares, near Iznajar on the edge of a national park, the Parque Natural de La Sierra Subbetica and centrally located in the Andalucian triangle between Cordoba, Malaga and Granada; this Finca is ideal for exploring this stunning area that boasts over 320 days of sunshine per year.

The region is highly acclaimed for its exquisite Extra Virgin Olive Oil with 2 of the 9 official 'Dominations of Origin' originate from this region, making it the perfect place to taste, experience and to learn to cook with some of the best internationally praised olive oil in the world.

This Finca runs a special Discover Olive Oil course in the nearby town of Priego de Córdoba that can be booked on it's own or as a perfect addition to your Spanish cooking holiday.

You can also choose to specialise by learning to cook Spanish tapas or paella on a short break for a Spanish cookery holiday with a difference.

Your hosts Chef Clive and his wife Maki are passionate about food, wine and olive oils from the area and during your Spanish cooking lessons, you’ll have the pleasure of cooking seasonally with vegetables and herbs that are organically grown on the Finca’s land or purchased directly from the local farmers.

Rich in natural beauty, culture, heritage and history and within an hour of some of Spain's most beautiful historical cities, taking a cooking course in Andalucía promises not only a culinary experience but also a cultural one.

Clive really is an amazing chef and what a wonderful teacher. I had so much fun and laughed so much. The food we prepared spoiled me for the restaurants in Granada. If my brother allows me to let loose in his kitchen I'll see what I can recreate from our wonderful experience.

By Taxi - Nearest airport is either Malaga (50 minutes) or Granada (45 minutes).

The easiest way to reach the Finca is by car, we strongly recommend you rent a car on this cooking holiday as the Finca is situated in the small village of Los Juncares, near Iznajar.
