Casperia is truly a magical environment for a yoga holiday

casperia_goodWe know that our yoga retreat in the hills of Casperia near Rome is the perfect setting for an amazing yoga holiday but it is always nice to hear that our customers feel the same too!

Anne Jordan booked a 3 night / 4 day yoga weekend at the retreat in June 2011 and this is what she had to say on her return (yes, she did force herself to come home in the end!):

“Casperia is beautiful and it literally took my breath away – I had the most amazing holiday.  Everyone was so friendly and most helpful.

Sallie was so welcoming and warm and she did her utmost to ensure we were comfortable, happy and informed about all that was on offer for our break and in the surrounding area. She was very approachable and accommodating.  She does a powerful job co-coordinating the holiday and she is a great organiser.

Gabriella, our yoga teacher was amazing.  She just floats around and is so graceful.  Her classes were truly powerful stuff – really challenging, very enjoyable and just what I needed. With lots of good stretching, focusing and balancing I learned a huge lot which I will continue to practice.  She is a true yogi and while we were put through our paces she was funny and totally considerate to each person.  The setting and atmosphere was conducive to yoga.  The yoga room was lovely and so was the platform outside in the garden.  Truly a magical environment for yoga.

Johanne, our therapist is beautiful and very professional.  Her treatments were powerful and beneficial.  She is such a gentle personality and considerate – you couldn’t find nicer.

The breakfast was beautiful and the selection of fruits, cereals, bread, cheese etc etc.  The girls attending were really friendly and helpful.  There was no shortage of food and it was prepared and presented in a very appetizing manner.

Alexandro was very friendly and helpful and always pleasant.  He seems to enjoy carting the holidayers around.

I initially booked for three days and planned to go into Rome for two nights but I didn’t want to leave there and on my first night I asked Sallie if it were possible to spend my five nights in Casperia and luckily this was possible.

I have been to many places in Italy and even lived in Piedmont for fourteen months but Casperia is definitely one of the nicest spots I’ve visited.  It is real Italy, beautiful settings, lovely weather, good food and wine and lovely friendly people.

I am so glad I took my break with the yoga school in Casperia and I will return.  I am telling everyone about it and already I have four people who want to go.

Some want to go in September but financially I won’t be able to accompany them.  Perhaps they will go anyway and if not I will definitely go there next May.”
