Course itinerary
This is no ordinary language learning experience, you will not just be led through a text book but instead, living with your teacher means that you will be guided through the French language at all times to really help develop your linguistic skills.
This intense method of learning a new language will have you thinking in as well as speaking French in no time at all and once you think in a different language, you will find that you can progress at a rapid pace.
All teachers are highly qualified and have either a teaching certificate recognised by the state, or a university degree (or equivalent) accepted in the private sector.
All qualifications are verified and the teachers’ homes are regularly and thoroughly inspected to ensure standards are maintained.
Although you are living with your teacher, you are of course free to come and go as you please so you have complete freedom on this French immersion holiday with a difference.

French Immersion Course Start Days
- These short French immersion courses start on Sundays
- Courses run year round

French Immersion Class Schedule
- You will have 60 hours of formal private lessons during your stay
- The lessons usually take place in the mornings but can be scheduled to fit in with your requirements
- Typically, your 60 hours will be split across the 3 weeks starting the morning after you arrive at your host teacher’s home
- Outside of your formal lessons, you will be continuously immersed in the language during meal times, after dinner and during any outings with your teacher
Outing With Your Tutor
- Please note that one formal outing is included in the price of your French immersion course
- The exact outing times are arranged on arrival with your host and might include a visit to a local market, city tour, to a museum or other attraction you may be interested in
- Your host teacher will suggest a possible outing to you on arrival and you can agree this together
Your Accommodation
- Accommodation is included
- You may arrive any time after 2pm although earlier arrivals may be permitted subject to availability
- You will have your own private room but will share a bathroom
- You may be living with a single teacher, a couple or with a family
- You will have complete freedom to come and go as you please
- Please note that parking in Paris is extremely limited and is unlikely there will be a parking space with your host teacher, if you are driving please note that on your booking so that can be taken into consideration when searching for a suitable tutor for you
Meals
- All meals are included
- If you have any special dietary needs, please enter these in the special requests box during booking process
- Please note that a supplement for special dietary requirements, such as gluten free diets, halal, etc (not including vegetarians), will be charged during the booking process
Host Tutor Home Location
- Please note that most teachers live around 30 minutes outside the city centre
- Your host teacher’s home address and full details about your teacher and their interests will be given to you as soon as you have paid your balance 1 month before arrival
- Return airport transfers can be booked as an optional extra
Local Support
- A local organiser is on hand to ensure the experience meets your expectations
- The local organiser is available 24 hours a day for emergencies, advice and support
Host Tutor Preferences
- Tell us if you have any specific interests and where possible, you will be matched with a host teacher that shares your interests to enhance your learning experience
- If you have any preferences as to staying with a family, couple or single teacher please note these in the special request box and these will be accommodated where possible
- Please also tell us of any allergies to pets or food and so on so that we can try to place you with the most suitable teacher possible
Other Information
- To book 2 people sharing a room and sharing the lessons, you’ll receive a 20% discount per person
- You can also take an accompanying person sharing a room without lessons, with a 20% discount for the 2nd person
