During the 7 night/8 day holiday, you have the flexibility to choose your own assortment of stimulating zumba dance fitness classes, insightful meditation sessions and calming yoga and Pilates lessons from the weekly timetable.

Spend three days surfing the world class waves on offer with a professional instructor in glorious sunshine. Try an energetic zumba class in the new studio to really get your endorphins flowing or witness a beautiful beach sunrise whilst experiencing a relaxing Pilates session on the stunning beaches on this incredible Island.

Spend afternoons strolling along the deserted beaches, refresh in the on-site swimming pools, enjoy a relaxing massage and take home ideas and positive energy feeling healthy, relaxed, revived and restored.

Stay in beautiful self-catering bungalows set within bougainvillea and hibiscus shrouded gardens with 2 swimming pools, tennis courts and a library.  After your morning exercise, enjoy a short stroll to the beautiful beaches, shops, cafes and restaurants of Fuerteventura's lovely Corralejo on the north of the Island.

- Surf lessons are also suitable for all levels
- Suitable for all from complete beginners to those with many years practice of Yoga, Pilates and meditation
- You must be able to swim to take part in the surf lessons

- Please note that this is a flexible itinerary and the holiday will suit those looking for to create their own mix of yoga, Pilates, zumba and meditation classes during the week from the weekly classes on offer rather than holidaying to a ‘set itinerary’


Solo Holiday?
- These courses make great singles holidays as there are no single supplements if you are happy to share a room in one of the self-catering bungalow
- Private rooms are available for a small supplement (See the costing and extra tab for prices)


Yoga Pilates Meditation Zumba And Surfing Holiday Start Dates
- Courses run on any day throughout the year
- Accommodation runs for 7 nights / 8 days
- Classes start on day 2 so you can arrive anytime on day 1
- Please note that this is a flexible holiday and the aim of the week is that you choose the perfect mix of classes to suit you from the timetable of Pilates, yoga, zumba and meditation, combined with three surf lessons


Yoga Pilates Meditation Zumba And Surfing Holiday Sample Itinerary
Note: Classes start on day 2 so you can arrive from 14.00 on day 1
Please note that the itinerary is for guidance only and the week is designed that you can choose from a selection of daily classes to suit you although some classes will only run if minimum numbers are achieved but the details of what is on offer will be given to you on arrival:
 
- Each morning you can choose between a fantastic range of yoga, Pilates, meditation and zumba session starting at 8.30am or 9am (subject to availability on the day)
- Each evening you will enjoy either a Pilates, yoga, zumba or meditation session around 5pm for approximately 1.5 hours
- You will have a mixture of 14 different classes spread over 6 days (Day 1 and Day 8 are arrival and departure days)
- Please note that a mixture of classes is encouraged on this holiday and it may not be possible to focus on one discipline for the duration of your holiday due to availability
- The time and day surf lessons times will depend on tide, weather conditions and group ability and will be confirmed on the day
- Classes are subject to availability, but the team will provide you with a recommended itinerary upon arrival and if you wish to switch classes this can be arranged the evening before
- Between your sessions you have the rest of the day free to relax, eat good food and explore the local area or try a treatment in the spa
- The course includes 1 complimentary 60 minute massage session, the exact time and day of the massage will be arranged with you on arrival and you are welcome to book additional treatments or Reiki sessions during the week if you wish to (extra charge paid locally)


Where Will I Practice Yoga Pilates Zumba And Meditation?
- Yoga, Pilates, meditation and zumba are all practised in a bright and airy indoor studio which is a 5 minute walk from the bungalow accommodation
- The studio has recently been refurbished to a high standard
- Yoga and Pilates sessions will also take place outdoors in the fresh air next to the beautiful beaches (weather permitting)

What Will I Learn In My Pilates Yoga Meditation And Zumba Lessons?
- Yoga and Pilates practice will be adapted for all levels from complete beginners to advance yogis
- Your yoga classes will be based on different yoga styles including hatha yoga, power yoga, vinyasa flow and beach yoga
- Yoga practice will cover Asanas (physical movements), Pranayama (breathing practices), Meditation (stilling and calming of the mind & inner self) and Relaxation (complete mind, body relaxation)
- Zumba is a great form of exercise which is also a lot of fun, energetic lessons to music will help you to really relax and help you to achieve a happier and healthier mind and body
- This dance fitness program was created by dancer and choreographer Alberto "Beto" Perez in Colombia during the 1990s and combines Latin and international music with dance creating the a fun exercise programme
- Pilates will be mat based and with small equipment which will be provided
- Meditation will include yoga nidra, guided meditation, kundalini yoga
- The small groups allow you to explore alignment within your pose as well as fluid movement from one pose to the next working with our teachers to deepen your practice whatever your level
- The teacher will give you one-to-one attention giving you the confidence to develop a home practice


What Will I Learn In My Surf Lessons?
- Elementary water safety
- To understand your surf board, where to find the rails, the nose, the stringer and the sweet spot!
- Theory lessons on types of breaks, surf board design, equipment and history
- How to control the board in the water
- Where and how to position yourself to catch a wave
- How to clear the breaking zone and deal with white water
- Line up positioning
- How to paddle to catch the waves
- How to balance standing and lying on the board
- How to stand on your board beginning with a knees to standing action (slower) to mastering a ‘pop up’

If you are elementary to advanced:
- You will be taken on surfari to the island's most challenging waves on the north shore
- The instructors will work with you to improve your technique in order to take your surfing to the next level


What To Bring
- Please bring comfortable clothing you can move in easily
- It can be hot in the summer months so please bring clothing that will be suitable for practicing in hot weather
- The retreat supplies yoga mats; Magic Circles, straps and blocks where necessary, as well as any additional equipment needed for the specific session


Treatments / Massages
- A full body massage is included in this holiday
- Extra massages and treatments are available and if you wish to book other treatments, your host Karissa can help you arrange this with the therapist during the week


Self-Catering Bungalow Accommodation
- This is a self-catering holiday so no meals will be provided during your stay
- Your accommodation is located in Corralejo and there are many delicious restaurants and cafes a few minutes’ walk from the bungalows, and each bungalow has a kitchenette should you wish to prepare your own meals
- You’ll spend 7 nights / 8 days in a tranquil bungalow quietly tucked away within bougainvillea and hibiscus shrouded gardens backing onto the pool area
- Each bungalow has 1 bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom and a lovely terrace area
- Bungalows are cleaned every other day and are a perfect retreat to relax and take time out for yourself during your stay
- There are two pools and tennis courts which are free of charge to use (bring your own racket and tennis balls)
- Yoga, Pilates, zumba and meditation lessons take place at a brand new studio located 5 minutes’ walk from your accommodation, on the beach or near the swimming pool
- Prices are based on 2 people sharing a room and bathroom in a 1 bedroom bungalow
- If there are 2 people travelling together, you will be allocated in a 1 bedroom bungalow
- If you are travelling solo, you will be allocated a room with another solo traveller of the same sex for no additional supplement but if you prefer a private room, you can pay a supplement for your own private 1 bedroom bungalow which can be added during the booking process
- Check-in is on arrival day after 2pm and check-out is on day 8 by 10am
