The typical white pueblo of Torrox is situated in the heart of Andalucía between Malaga and Nerja and is the setting for your Spanish cookery holiday. Its beautiful mountain location provides you with narrow winding streets, hidden squares and rich Spanish culture to explore and be inspired by for taste of the real Spain.



The excellent location of Torrox offers breathtaking views of the mountains and the sea and its surrounding countryside is an ideal place to take a walk and relax in between your cookery lessons. However, if you prefer beach life to the countryside, the excellent beaches of the Costa del Sol are within a 10 minute drive from the village.

You will stay in one of two charming Moorish houses which are right next door to each other and have both been tastefully restored to a high specification whilst retaining their original rustic charm. The houses are fully equipped with all modern conveniences and have a pretty outdoor terrace with stunning views over the village to ensure your stay is comfortable, homely, and idyllic.

Your host and chef Christopher is passionate about taking his guests on a culinary and cultural journey to discover Spanish cookery and has even published his own cook book. Christopher moved to Andalucía from the USA a few years ago and has been teaching locals and visitors alike to cook ever since.

Cooking classes take place in Christopher’s kitchen just a few minutes away from your accommodation and most of the cooking takes place outside where possible to make the most of the Andalucian sunshine.
