Pilates And Boot Camp Holiday

Holiday itinerary

This Pilates and boot camp holiday is designed to help you build strength and fitness to achieve your weight loss goals through a structured and personalised program in a fun and encouraging environment.

Your host Viv has extensive Pilates experience and will help you will help you to develop your strength, balance and fitness in the warm Spanish sunshine through daily morning Pilates classes, leaving you feeling positive, revived and restored.

Your late afternoon boot camp sessions will be taken by Matt, who will encourage you to push your fitness boundaries to achieve your weight loss or personal fitness goals. You’ll work up a sweat through H.I.I.T (high intensity interval training) and a variety of exercises such as swimming, running and weights to work your whole body both indoors and outdoors.

Stay in a beautiful rural villa with 4 lovely bedrooms with ensuite or shared bathrooms, surrounded by almond, lemon and orange trees, sweet scented jasmine and bougainvillea. The gardens are an ideal place to relax in the shade or to take a soothing swim in the outside pool and if you like the feel of the sand between your toes you are also just 15 minutes by car from the fantastic coastal beaches of Murcia.

This Pilates and boot camp holiday offers a calming escape from the stresses of the outside world where you can fully focus on your fitness through a variety of intense boot camp exercises and strengthening Pilates classes to leave you feeling fitter, lighter and with a new zest for life.

- You do not need to have any experience in Pilates to join the holiday
- You will have your own personal fitness program tailored to your fitness levels and goals

Solo Holiday?
- This holiday is a great singles holidays and most people who take this holiday travel solo
- Solo travellers can share a twin room with 1 other solo traveller of the same gender with a shared bathroom to avoid any single supplements
- Solo travellers can also book a private room with either a shared bathroom or ensuite bathrooms for additional supplements, please see the costing and extras tab for prices


Pilates And Bootcamp Holiday Start Dates
- Courses run on set dates throughout the year and begin on Thursdays (check out the following Wednesday)
- Accommodation runs for 6 nights/7 days
- Check-in is on arrival day after 2pm and check-out is on day 7 by 10am
- If dates appear ‘on request’ please email us and we’ll check availability for your preferred day of arrival as quickly as possible


Pilates And Bootcamp Holiday Sample Itinerary
The itinerary is for guidance only and is subject to change depending on the group’s needs and wishes but is typically as follows:

Day 1 – Arrival day
- Today is your arrival day and you can check into your room any time after 2pm
- The afternoon is free for you to settle into your room or relax by the pool
- In the evening, enjoy a delicious healthy dinner with your fellow guests as well as an introduction to the week’s activities ahead from your host Viv

Days 2 – 6 – Pilates class and boot camp sessions
- Each morning, you will have a revitalising group Pilates class with Viv lasting around 1 hour and 30 minutes
- After your Pilates class, enjoy a healthy breakfast including fruit smoothies, cereals and fresh fruit
- Relax for the rest of the morning before a healthy lunch every afternoon
- Spend the afternoon at your leisure unwinding by the pool and soaking up the sun
- At 6pm daily, Matt will take your 1 hour boot camp session to get your pulse racing 
- The boot camp sessions will focus on toning and defining muscles and helping you lose weight
- Reward yourself with a delicious healthy vegetarian dinner at 8pm and spend the evening relaxing with your fellow guests

Day 7 – Departure day
- After a final healthy breakfast, it’s time to check out of your room by 10am and leave Murcia with your new found zest for life and fitness


Your Boot Camp Instructor
-Your boot camp instructor for the week is fitness fanatic Matt Fuller
- Matt is a fully qualified Level 3 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with years of experience running workshops and classes in the UK and Spain
- He has worked on a one to one basis with female and male clients of all ages and abilities and will ensure you receive a personalised fitness plan to get you on the right track to achieving your goals
- Matt has a particular interest in nutrition and diet and aids to better fitness and health alongside his exercises and workshops


Your Pilates Instructor

- Your welcoming host and instructor for the week is Vivienne Wharton
- Viv has been practicing Pilates and yoga to inspire guests and help develop the same focus in those seeking to simply improve their wellbeing
- She is trained by The Body Control Pilates Association (BCPA) which is Europe's foremost professional Pilates organisation
- She is also a certified Pilates reformer instructor which means she will be able to build a program with you to target strength building or to change and improve body shape
- She is also trained and experienced with Osteoporosis/Osteopenic clients so her programmes  will benefit sufferers of Osteoporosis including Back&bones4good, an excellent programme for posture, balance, strength, mobility and stronger bones


What Will I Learn?
Pilates
- Pilates is an approach to exercise and body-conditioning, which aims to develop a leaner, more toned body along with a calmer mind
- Your Pilates classes will help you to strengthen the back, tighten your stomach and improve your posture
- Classes are also aimed to destress the body and mind and are suitable for all levels
- Viv will tailor the exercises to your own personal fitness and experience
Bootcamp:
- This holiday is designed to build strength and fitness and to promote weight loss through varied, intense and explosive routines
- Workouts will take place both indoors and outdoors
- Your personal trainer, Matt, will push you further than you’d go yourself and will provide support and encouragement during the week
- Learn which exercises help you to achieve your goals, whether it’s weight loss, personal fitness or both
- Boot camp exercises are tailored to your own level and goals and could include a variety of cardio exercises, stretching, running and swimming
- Workouts are based on H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training) which is an effective and fast way to help to lose weight


Aftercare Programme
- When you leave the retreat, you’ll take your new attitudes, understanding and personal exercise programme with you
- All bootcamp exercises have been designed so that you can easily carry on with these back home (they don’t include specialist machinery or weights)
- Vivienne will be on hand online once you’ve returned home to give you advice and encouragement to help you achieve your goals


Accommodation
- You’ll spend 6 nights/7 days in a tranquil country house quietly tucked away within bougainvillea shrouded gardens backing onto the pool area
- Inside the house there is a sizeable country kitchen, living/dining room and main bathroom
- Yoga and Pilates lessons take place on-site at the studio which is fully equipped and mirrored with high ceilings
- There is one swimming pool and a Jacuzzi
- Prices are based on 2 people sharing a room with bathroom in either a twin or double room
- If there are 2 people travelling together, you will be allocated in a bedroom together
- If you are travelling solo, you will be allocated a room with another solo traveller of the same sex for no additional supplement but if you prefer a private room, you can pay a supplement for your own private bedroom which can be added during the booking process
- Check-in is on arrival day after 2pm and check-out is on day 7 by 10am
- Wi-fi is available throughout the house and gardens
- Your hosts have dogs who are only outside providing the guests do not mind

Rooms available:
- The sunshine room is a large bedroom that can accommodate 4 single beds for group bookings, or twin/double for couples or 2 sharing. It looks out onto the gardens and has air conditioning and en-suite facilities
- The blue room can accommodate 2 single beds or a double. It looks out onto the garden and has air conditioning and en-suite facilities
- The purple room can accommodate twin or double beds, overlooks the inner courtyard and has en-suite facilities
- The pink room is a single room overlooking the inner courtyard and has en-suite toilet and wash facilities and shared bathroom

Meals

All meals are included in the price of your holiday
Food is freshly prepared on the day using local organic ingredients and produce such as figs, lemons, oranges, pomegranates and grapes from the retreats own garden
All food is vegetarian and the focus of the meals will be on healthy living with abundant fruit and vegetables
