Spanish and Rock Climbing Course

Andalucia, Granada, Spain

Holiday itinerary

This exciting one week Spanish and rock climbing course is perfect if you want to discover Spain from a different angle by exploring the scenic Sierra Nevada National park, regardless of your level of Spanish and whether you’re a complete novice or a serious rock climber.

You will be taught by highly qualified native Spanish speakers who have been trained and are experienced in the best possible teaching methods.

Two afternoons in the week you will go rock climbing in the wonderful mountains the Sierra Nevada National Park has to offer. The pristine limestone mountains and the reliable sunny weather offer fantastic rock climbing possibilities.

Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Granada is surrounded by pristine limestone, equipped with more quality sport climbing than you can imagine. Thanks to the reliable and glorious sunny weather, there are fantastic climbing possibilities throughout the year.

The main area of Los Cahorros is a mere 20 minutes walk from the village of Monachil (5 km outside of Granada). Elsewhere, the crags of Alfacar, Loja, Diezma, Los Vados and the legendary El Chorro in Malaga are within easy reach by car.

During your free time, you can put the Spanish language skills you will have learnt into practice when you go out and about in the beautiful medieval city of Granada, which has plenty to offer in terms of culture and history. You can visit the Alhambra palace, which is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, stroll along the streets of the city and listen to flamenco guitars as well as enjoying the many tapas bars the town boasts.

Immerse yourself in the Spanish culture and pack in some rock climbing adventure in the breath-taking Sierra Nevada National park on this language holiday with a difference.
