The school doesn't guarantee the surfing in the Spanish and surf option. The tides basically only allow you to surf around high tide, and this swaps from morning to afternoon. They schedule the classes and then expect to surf at other times.

These times will be scheduled to fit around your language lessons and the instructors try to ensure that your surf lessons will be at high tide where possible so that you can make the most of your surf lessons.
