GoLearnTo publishes learning-travel guidance for people who want to practise a real skill in the place they visit. These standards explain how we research pages, handle uncertainty and separate editorial judgement from commercial relationships.
We start with the skill and the place
We do not add a skill to a destination simply because one listing uses the city name. The place should offer a meaningful connection through local practice, language, material, terrain, history or a current teaching community.
That connection does not need high search volume to be useful. A hostless page can remain live when it gives travellers specific, researched help: what the skill looks like there, what a beginner can practise, where it usually takes place, realistic timing and the questions to ask while we find a suitable host.
We distinguish learning from looking
A tour, performance, tasting or demonstration may be worthwhile without being a class. We call something a learning experience when the traveller has a meaningful role: speaking, cooking, shaping, playing, practising, observing with a method or receiving useful feedback.
The page should explain what you can realistically do in the available time. We avoid turning a short introduction into a promise of mastery.
Sources and current details
Our research may use official institutions, cultural organisations, direct provider pages, current schedules, maps, archives and reputable first-party publications. We name sources where they materially support a claim and keep promotional listings separate from independent evidence.
Prices, timetables, teachers and access can change. A review date tells you when our editorial research was checked; it is not a guarantee that every provider detail remains available today. Current booking facts should be confirmed before you travel.
Provider profiles and independence
An independent directory profile is created from public research. It does not mean the provider has joined GoLearnTo, approved the page or passed a complete operational review. Unconfirmed phone numbers, private addresses and opening hours are withheld from the public profile.
A provider may correct factual information without paying. A commercial relationship, claimed profile or featured placement will be labelled. Money cannot buy a positive editorial conclusion.
Writing, software and editorial responsibility
GoLearnTo may use software and AI-assisted tools to organise sources and detect inconsistent page relationships. Those tools do not remove editorial responsibility. Public claims, links and final wording must pass human review and automated quality checks.
