Yoga And Pilates Holiday - Pilates Reformer

Costa Blanca, Murcia, Spain

Holiday itinerary

This yoga and pilates break is ideal if you want to relax and unwind but are limited on time. It offers a calming retreat from the stresses of the outside world, a beautiful location, healthy food and a great opportunity to experience new things and to make new friends in the warm Spanish sunshine.

Your host has extensive yoga and pilates experience, and she will ensure personalised and individual attention throughout your break including an private pilates reformer session so you can focus on your own goals and improve relaxation, breathing, alignment, coordination, stamina and core strength.

The secluded retreat is surrounded by beautiful almond, lemon and orange trees, sweet scented jasmine and bougainvillea. The gardens are an ideal place to relax in the shade or to take a soothing swim in the private pool and if you like the feel of the sand between your toes you are just 25 minutes from the fantastic coastal beaches of Murcia.

This is the perfect place for fitness and spirituality to come together on a yoga and pilates break with a difference.

- This is a bed-like frame with a flat platform on it, called the carriage, which rolls back and forth on wheels within the frame, and was invented by founder Joseph Pilates
- Exercises can be done lying down, sitting, standing, pulling the straps, pushing the foot bar, perched on the foot bar, perched on the shoulder blocks, with additional equipment, upside down, sideways and all kinds of variations thereof
- Your instructor will always provide you with a suitable lesson plan and course based on assessment of your requirements, or the gains you are looking to achieve
- The Reformer offers all the famous benefits of Pilates including overall strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. These things in turn lead to daily life improvements like better posture, graceful, efficient movement, and for many, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances such as back pain.
- The Reformer is great for rehabilitation after an operation or illness; it is beneficial for many back conditions and has a high rate of improving some conditions that are usually only resolved by medical intervention, particularly conditions of the spine
