Painting Holiday

Our hosts were warm, conversational, accomodating, and welcoming. The instructor was very knowledgable; however, the studio appeared a bit dark and cluttered. It would have been a more pleasant experience if it were a cleaner, brighter, and more spacious room. The chef's meals were delicious.

Sally and David are fantastic hosts and make you very welcome into their home. .David is an excellent painter and with good all round knowledge of various media. Only suggestion would be to have additional time on sites, because there are so many interesting places to paint. Excellent food by Sally.

The couple I stayed with were very warm and welcoming and the home cooked food was delicious. Lunch and evenings meals were taken together with the other guests. David's philosophy was 'there's no right or wrong way' to paint. Great holiday would love to do it again.

Learned a lot about art! Good food; lovely trips out; fun week; took home nice work we'd done. Would be unfair to omit mentioning the 2 (lovely) dogs; a fair bit of cigarette smoking; currently a large building site close to the house. Fairer to know that info beforehand but overall a great holiday!

I had a wonderful holiday with Sally and David in Lodeves. Their ease and friendliness made for a relaxing time and left me feeling refreshed. David is a gifted teacher; I enjoyed the inspiring course and made a lot of progress, more than I thought I would. Sally is a wonderful cook!!

I had a lovely getaway and thoroughly enjoyed everything Southern france and David & Sally had to offer. Painting again felt liberating.

The hosts not only provided good and spotlessly clean basic accommodation, but three excellent meals with fresh produce every day, transport to interesting learning venues and a very welcoming and supportive athmosphere.
