A useful first surf lesson in Taghazout should leave you able to explain one safer, more effective next attempt. Standing is not guaranteed and is not the only meaningful outcome. Conditions, learner confidence and active practice vary.
One current group lesson is advertised as two hours, but that may include transfers, equipment fitting and the beach briefing. Ask how much time you can expect in the water.
Taghazout is a surf region label as well as a village. The school may teach elsewhere according to conditions. That can be responsible when the operator states the location, transfer and reason. No beach should be frozen into “safe” or “easy”: swell, wind, tide, crowd and access change the decision.
