How selection works

A direct Casablanca lead publishes one-and-a-half to two-hour discovery and beginner pottery formats, including a distinction between air-dried and fired work. That distinction should be settled before the learner chooses a format.

Air-dry, fire and carry

Ask what you shape, how the potter corrects you and what happens after the wet-clay session. Air-dried clay is not a kiln-fired ceramic object. Firing may require later collection or delivery.

What to verify

  • Exact studio and current named potter
  • Hand-building, wheel or decoration task
  • Learner practice, repeat and individual correction
  • One-and-a-half or two-hour format and group size
  • Clay, dust, tool, glaze, ventilation and kiln controls
  • Air-dried or fired result and durability boundary
  • Collection, delivery, breakage and traveller timing
  • Explicit alcohol-free venue and inclusions
  • Current dates, price and cancellation

Return to Casablanca, compare formal zellige learning, or understand kiln firing.
