• Your choice of horse riding or carriage driving on days 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7
• All horse riding equipment (please bring suitable clothing for riding inc. footwear)
• Breakfast daily
• A picnic lunch or light lunch at the stables on days 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
• A BBQ lunch on day 7
• Dinner with wine at the farmhouse on days 2,3,4,6 and 7
• An evening excursion to Lagos or the nearby villages
• The evening excursion on 1 evening includes transport to Lagos or the local villages, you will leave the farmhouse around 6pm and return at approximately 10pm
• Accommodation at the farmhouse in a twin/double room for 7 nights
• You can check in any time after 3pm on day 1 and check-out by noon on day 8
• Prices are based on two sharing
• Note: Single travellers can reserve a single room with shared bathroom for no single supplement (subject to availability) or share the bunk room, or reserve their own double ensuite private room for a single supplement if they do not wish to share a room with another guest of the same sex (subject to availability)

Location overview

Set on the edge of the beautiful Costa Vincentina National Park, 15 minutes north of the cosmopolitan harbour town of Lagos in Portugal, this rural farmhouse retreat runs both day horse riding courses and cookery courses. The farmhouse stands in 50 acres of rolling hillside with wonderful views over Cape St Vincent, the most southerly point of Europe. Enjoy a horse riding or cookery day with a difference.
