Chefchaouen can host genuine film learning, but every opportunity is date-bound. The July 2026 film festival included workshops and masterclasses at Medina, Kasbah and cultural-centre venues. That programme has finished; it proves a creative ecosystem, not current availability.
Screening, talk or workshop?
| Format | Learner role |
|---|---|
| Screening | Watch and interpret a completed work |
| Q&A | Ask a practitioner about decisions |
| Masterclass | Study a defined process with an expert |
| Workshop | Make, review or revise something under guidance |
All four can be worthwhile. Only the last two normally support a course-style provider card, and only when the current tutor, task and date are published.
The expiry rule
Event pages often remain online after the programme ends. GoLearnTo checks the year and session date before treating any item as available. A future edition cannot inherit last year’s teachers, venues or curriculum. The enquiry route must belong to the current programme.
Why there is no provider profile yet
No future dated Chefchaouen film workshop has cleared the present evidence gate. The skill stays visible because the city has hosted qualified learning; the provider area stays on HOLD rather than being filled with an expired listing or a screening-only event.
