Painting workshops in Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen provides colour, geometry and changing light; the artist must still provide the lesson. A useful workshop sets one visual problem, observes the learner’s decisions and gives feedback that changes the work.

The learning loop

The current research lead publishes a three-hour outdoor class, materials, step-by-step guidance and a signed take-home artwork. It does not name the assigned artist, exact site or correction method.

Public street is not unrestricted studio space

An outdoor class needs an agreed location that does not block residents or working routes. Painting a building is different from photographing identifiable people; any image-making involving people, homes or workplaces still requires respectful boundaries.
