Painting workshops in Tetouan

Tetouan’s art school and Modern Art Centre make painting part of the city’s living identity, but neither is automatically a visitor class. The strongest direct visitor lead publishes painting among its hands-on workshops and still requires current practitioner and session verification.

Observe, make, critique

A useful class gives the learner a bounded visual problem: colour relationships, architectural rhythm, light, contour or composition. The artist demonstrates a decision, watches the learner try it and gives specific feedback. Painting beside a landmark without instruction is independent practice, not a workshop.

Ask whether the session is studio-based or outdoors. Medina thresholds, homes and identifiable people require consent; narrow streets and changing weather affect materials and access.
