A real sailing lesson
A useful first session covers the boat, safety and one manageable crew task before giving you repeated attempts. You might steer a course, handle a line or practise a tack with correction. If the skipper performs the manoeuvres while guests watch the cliffs, the product is a cruise.
Ask where the boat departs, how much active helm or sail-handling time each person receives, and what wind limit changes the plan. Small-group claims matter only when they translate into turns for each learner.
Be precise about surf geography
Surf offerings sold from Lagos may travel toward the west or south coast. That flexibility can be helpful, but the school should name the meeting point, expected transfer and beach-selection method. The coach—not the marketing photo—should decide whether conditions fit your level.
