Marrakech is visually generous and ethically demanding. A useful photography workshop should improve how you build and edit a story while teaching when to ask permission, when to put the camera down and how intended image use changes the consent required.

The strongest evidence-led format has a brief before shooting, a bounded assignment, image selection, individual feedback and a reasoned edit. Attractive locations do not replace teaching.
Streets are public spaces, but that does not turn every person into free content. Ask how the tutor handles refusal, photographs of children, homes, worship, artisans at work and commercial image use. A gratuity is not automatically informed consent, and verbal permission for a personal image may not cover advertising or resale.
Respect can improve the photographs: fewer rushed frames, clearer relationships and more attention to place, gesture and sequence.
